Germain Irvin has been devoted to teaching for twenty years and is pleased to now share her teaching talents with the Lemon Bay Community.
Irvin attended college at Temple University and Holy Family College, both of which are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received a bachelor of arts in psychology, and her teacher certification in special education and social studies. Irvin recently moved to the Englewood area in July of 2005 from Medford, New Jersey where she previously taught.
Irvin is in her second year as a teacher at Lemon Bay. She specializes in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and teaches classes within this specialty. "I enjoy the open campus, the friendly staff, and the great students." Another thing she enjoys about teaching is when students she has had in the past return to visit her and show what a great life they have made for themselves.
When Irvin is not busy teaching, she is still busy with her many hobbies and interests. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family or read, especially mysteries. She also enjoys curling up with her shitz-zu named Scooter to watch her favorite movie Casablanca. She also likes to play golf, go fishing, or watch football. If she were to win the lottery she would love to travel the world.
This devoted teacher is a wonderful asset to Lemon Bay High School.
