Michael Cullinan
ESE

There are a variety of teachers in the Lemon Bay High School family. Michael Cullinan is still rather a new addition. He only just arrived at Lemon Bay two years ago. "I am so glad I decided to move down here and start teaching at such a great school."

Cullinan moved down to Florida a little over two years ago. "I decided to move here to get away from the snow and the freezing cold." Cullinan was born and raised in New York. After graduating high school Cullinan attended a college in California, where he received a bachelors degree in psychology. Deciding to challenge himself once again, Cullinan aimed to earn a Master's degree in psychology. He achieved his goal and earned a masters at a college in New York. After teaching high school English for a year in New York, Cullinan decided to escape from the freezing cold and move to the Sunshine State.

Last year was Cullinan's first year teaching at Lemon Bay High School. He taught English. This year in addition to teaching English, Cullinan is also teaching reading. "I just want to be involved in everything that I possibly can be." Cullinan tries to make himself available as much as possible to his students. This allows his students to excel in his class by offering them extra help after school. Cullinan does not currently coach any sports because he is extremely busy with teaching and his home life outside of school.

Outside of school Cullinan enjoys a variety of outdoor sports and activities. On the weekend one can always find Cullinan boating and fishing with his adored family. Cullinan also loves to watch sports, as well as participating in them.

Although Cullinan leads a very busy lifestyle, he is always available for a little extra help. He manages all of this while inspiring many students at Lemon Bay.
