ESE

Salvatore Capaccio has been a Florida resident for 11 years. He attended Syracuse University and the University of South Florida. Capaccio has been at Lemon Bay for a total of eight years. He spent his first four years at Lemon Bay coaching the high school football team, and then he later decided to become a teacher. This is now his fourth year teaching here.

Capaccio teaches all levels of social studies including 9th grade introduction to social sciences, 10th grade world history, 11th grade American history, and 12th grade government and economics classes. History is his favorite subject to teach. He enjoys learning new material all the time constantly researching American and world history. He enjoys teaching because of the impact that he has on his students both academically and personally.

Being thoroughly active within the school, Capaccio is the head JV football coach, as well as the head coach for the girls' varsity track team. He loves his coaching job as well as being able to interact with his athletes.

He even takes his high interest for sports outside of school by keeping up with the most recent sports info. "I'm a sports nut." Capaccio even does a little sports work for the radio.

In his spare time he likes to stay current with the news and politics. "I don't have much spare time, but when I do I like to spend as much time as I can with my wife and my dog."
