Mission Statement: The mission of the Freshman Academy at Lemon Bay High School is to provide a supportive environment, meaningful learning experience, and to lay the foundation for academic, social, and personal success to ensure a positive transition to and through high school.

Dear Parents and Students,
We are so proud of our freshmen students and the outstanding job they did through their participation in our homecoming week activities! This class has really been an active and spirited one and their enthusiasm was in evidence in everything they did to represent their class.
There are several important dates coming up in the next twomonths, including school holidays. Please mark your calendars to reflect the Thanksgiving Break beginning on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 and running through Sunday, November 25th. Kids return to school on Monday, November 26th. In December, the Winter Break starts on Friday, December 21st. The kids return to school on Monday, January 7, 2013.
Of course, the most important dates are the coming semester exams and the end of the 2nd quarter grading period. Semester exam days are scheduled during the week preceding the Winter Holiday break. Please remind your kids, as we approach those days, it is never too early to start studying,especially as the middle of the grading period approaches. This is a good time for them to communicate with their teachers and stay on top of their assignments and grades.
